As a sort of thank you, Microsoft and 343 Industries have sent out a slew of free gifts to presumably everyone who has participated in the Halo 5: Guardians Multiplayer Beta.
"When we called, Spartan, you answered. And the next chapter of Halo will be better because a it," an email containing the free digital gifts reads. "Thanks again for being part of the next evolution of Halo combat."
For those of you who haven't participated in the beta or maybe haven't received the email, the free gifts are nothing to get too jealous about — just a few digital pictures to download that can be used on your Facebook profile. There's a UNSC "Profile Medal" that can be used for your Facebook profile picture, as well as a larger image showing your Xbox Gamertag and the main Halo 5 beta splash image for your Facebook cover photo. There are also two posters: one featuring a MARK-VI [GEN 1] and another with a Helioskrill.
We're currently in week two of the Halo 5: Guardians multiplayer beta which is scheduled to run through January 18, 2015. This week saw four new maps added as well as a new mode, Breakout. Owners of Halo: The Master Chief Collection are granted instant access to the beta, while a select number of Xbox One Preview members were also allowed to participate.
