Halo: The Master Chief Collection didn't experience the smoothest of launches when it released in early November on the Xbox One.
When the first issues occured in multiplayer 343 Industries had tons of things to investigate, after the investigations the executive producer of The Master Chief Collection came out and apologized for the multiplayer wait times.
Prior to The Master Chief Collection's release it was announced that Halo: Spartan Strike would be available or Windows 8, Windows Phone 8 and Steam, will be available on Dec. 12, but it doesn't look like we will be seeing the game release this month. The issues with The Master Chief Collection are big enough and demanding enough to have cause a delay on the release of Halo: Spartan Strike, the release date has been moved to 'early 2015.'
It's a vague enough date that allows them to work on the problems with The Master Chief Collection while putting Spartan Strike on the back burner.
