It was a rough start for Halo: The Master Chief Collection, there were so many issues with the game at launch that 343 Industries had to rectify it by offering free content to anyone that bought the game since launch on November 11, 2014 through December 19, 2014. The free content isn't the reason for this post, so, you can check out the free content here.
343 Industries is still continuing their efforts to improve everyone's experience on Halo: The Master Chief Collection – they worked through the holidays to bring one content update on Thursday, one next week and more in the future.
On Thursday we will be seeing new achievements for Spartan Ops and multiplayer. Next week we will be seeing an update to improve on the game itself by addressing the UI and a 'variety of other areas.' No specific date has been given for when this update will be hitting the game next week, but 343 will release details of the update once it passes the certification process.
We will be posting the patch details as soon as it it complete.
