Over the weekend, 343 Industries revealed that Coagulation will be one of the six Halo 2: Anniversary maps tha have been "reimagined" for Halo: The Master Chief Collection. It's kind of funny if you think about it because Coagulation was itself a remake of the popular Blood Gulch map from Halo: Combat Evolved. So, it's a remake of a remake? That sh*t cray.
Anyways, we don't yet have actual screenshots of the reimagined map, but 343 Industries did at least share some concept art. As you can see, it retains its desert-like environment with the two bases sitting promptly at both ends of the large valley. It looks like the caves, which are typically found along edges of the valley, will have more of a steamy, moist look and feel to them.
Halo: Master Chief Collection is due out exclusively for Xbox One on November 11. It will include the first four games for the franchise — Halo: Combat Evolved, Halo 2, Halo 3 and Halo 4 — as well as all of their multiplayer maps, including DLC installments. All four games will run at 1080p in 60FPS, with multiplayers operating on dedicated servers.
