Han Solo, Princess Leia and Emperor Palpatine officially revealed for Star Wars Battlefront

Since the Star Wars Battlefront beta began it has been rumored that Han Solo, Princess Leia and Emperor Palpatine would be playable in the games through the Hero system, joining Luke Skywalker and Darth Vader. A recent data dump supported the rumor even more and added to it with a ton of new details.

Following the all-but-outright confirmation of the additional Heroes, DICE has officially revealed Han Solo, Princess Leia and Emperor Palpatine. Check them out below!

Princess Leia

Leia is all about offering support to her team, she has no favorite weapon – but definitely offers buffs to her team.

• Trooper Bane:
  • One shot most enemies for limited time
• Supply drop:
  • Help your allies with special powers
• Enhanced shield:
  • Set up a shield to protect allies
• Combat roll:
  • Dodge incoming fire
• Spawn Alderaan Honor Guard

Han Solo

In Star Wars Battlefront, Han Solo is your traditional gunslinger. He was designed with 'lone wolf' players in mind. He's got a boosted arsenal with tons of focus on damage, offense and mobility. That means that he'll move fast, but won't be able to take too many hits.

Moves:

• Rapid Fire:
  • It allows him to fire as any shots as you can pull the trigger- without his gun overheating.
• Lucky Shot:
  • Builds up strength overtime and deals a shot strong enough to break Darth Vader's block — it's useful against vehicles.
• Shoulder Charge:
  • An offensive and defensive move that quickly gets you into or out of battles.

Emperor Palpatine

Palpatine will be all about deception, he might look fragile and weak, but he's actually quite powerful and mobile. He can be played solo or be as support.

• Chain Lightning:
  • Chains damage across a group of enemies
• Block:
  • Deflects blaster fire
• Imperial resources:
  • Drop power-ups to team mates
• Force Dash:
  • Quickly leap to escape cornering
• Force lightning:
  • Harness the power of the Dark side and strike down your opponents!
• Mind trick:
  • Outwit your enemies, reveal your true location
• Shock Troopers can spawn on you
