Happening Now: Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain Boot Camp

Journalists in Japan are getting the first go at trying out Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain.

The boot camp not only gives select members of the press three days to attempt to finish the game, but the chance to check out the extensive line of merchandise produced for highly anticipated game. On display are several realistic and chibi style figures, statuettes, busts, comics, clothing, boots, glasses, the Phantom Pain headset and, of course, the Limited Edition Phantom Pain PS4 Bundle that will be available across Europe, Australia and New Zealand. The clothing line is especially impressive as they have teamed up with Puma to produce a look that truly represents the game.  The glasses were produced by J.F. Rey and have several designs that range from sleek to rugged.

The impressive collection, with the help of the Quiet figure, will no doubt entice both fans of the game and the more sexually voracious. Check out photos from the event below, including a look at some of the merchandise.

Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain releases later this summer on September 1st.
