Hard Mode for Crota’s End coming to Destiny next week

Bungie has announced that Hard Mode for Destiny's end-game raid, Crota's End, will arrive next week on Wednesday, January 21, around 10:00am Pacific (or soon after).

"I can’t give you a playbook for how to end Crota this time," Destiny community manager David 'Deej' Dague said. "You don’t need my help, anyway."

"If you’ve experienced Hard Mode in Vault of Glass, you have some clues for how we can scale up a Raid. Prepare to take better care of your teammates. You’ll have fewer options for healing yourself, and each other. The enemies you’re about to face are stronger and more prone to temper tantrums. Be brave!"

Hard Mode for Crota's End will challenge Guardians with level 33 enemies. Aside from the challenge you'll face, clearing the raid will reward you with a trove of treasures, including weapons, ships, and shaders. Update 1.1.0.4 will prep Destiny for Crota's End, but patch notes won't be available until it's released on Tuesday.
