HBO involved with Telltale’s Game of Thrones

Telltale's upcoming Game of Thrones adaptation will span multiple titles in a multi-year partnership with television network HBO.

The developer announced the title during last weekend's VGX awards show. Since HBO is involved, the games will likely be directly based on the network's popular TV drama, not George R. R. Martin's fantasy novels.

Telltale is also working on Tales of the Borderlands with Gearbox Software, Season Two of The Walking Dead (due this month), and the second episode of The Wolf Among Us adventure game.
