PlayStation today published Flatiron Films’ theatric incarnation of Ninja Theory’s Heavenly Sword hack-‘n-slash PlayStation 3 frontrunner.
Directed by Gun Ho Jang and featuring actors Thomas Jane, Alfred Molina and Ana Torv, the movie follows the game’s storyline quite closely. “For Nariko, it is a race against time to avenge her clan before her life is irreparably overtaken by the omnipotent Heavenly Sword,” its PlayStation Store page reads.
The HD version of the 87-minute film clocks in at 4.0GB (SD 1.1GB) and is viewable on PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, PlayStation Vita, PlayStation Portable, Xperia tablet and smartphone, Bravia TVs and Media Go. All versions are available for $4.99 (SD $3.99).
