The PlayStation 4 is finally here. After all of the last-minute shuffling, Sony has finally confirmed the final list of PS4 launch-day titles. In total, there are 23 games available for the PS4 today in North America — a nice mix of blockbusters, indies, and free-to-play titles. Here they are:
- Angry Birds: Star Wars
- Assassin's Creed 4: Black Flag
- Battlefield 4
- Blacklight Retribution
- Call of Duty: Ghosts
- Contrast
- DC Universe Online
- FiFA 14
- Flower
- Injustice: Gods Among Us Ultimate Edition
- Just Dance 2014
- Killzone Shadow Fall
- Knack
- LEGO Marvel Super Heroes
- Madden NFL 25
- NBA 2K14
- Need for Speed Rivals
- Resogun
- Skylanders SWAP Force
- Sound Shapes
- Super Motherload
- Trine 2: COmplete Story
- Warframe
The best part about this list is that a number of these games are free. If you are a PlayStation Plus member you can already download and play Resogun and Contrast for free. If you aren't a PS Plus subscriber, you still have some free titles to choose from including Warframe, DC Universe Online, and Blacklight Retribution.
While some might argue this lineup is relatively weak — especially with how we've been spoiled with the PS3 — this list will be further bolstered by the release of other highly anticipated games like Driveclub, inFAMOUS: Second Son, The Order: 1886, and a new Uncharted which was just revealed last night.
