Here’s what Blizzard is sending World of Warcraft veterans

Now that's a hefty statue

Yesterday it was reported that Blizzard was sending a physical gift to veteran World of Warcraft players and it turns out that it was true.

If you have been playing World of Warcraft since its launch and haven't allowed your time to lapse, you could be getting a figure of the very statue that sits outside of Blizzard HQ.

World of Warcraft player Smitti, a level 100 Tauren Priest (IRL identity unknown), has had their account active for the last ten years without any breaks. Smitti took to the World of Warcraft forums to reveal Blizzard's veteran player gift, a metal statue of an orc atop a frost wolf. The is reported to be heavy and about eight inches tall. Luckily, Smitti posted some photos of the statue for the rest of us to see.

Both the full statue and the underside of the statue's base is pictured on the upper right. Here's what the base says:

“The Orc statue is a constant presence in our life at Blizzard Entertainment. It’s where we meet to talk, to eat, to celebrate. As we celebrate ten years of World of Warcraft, we present this token of our appreciation to you, stalwart adventurer. Thank you for being a constant presence in our lives as we adventure together.

Will you be getting a statue?
