Unlike Sony and Nintendo, Microsoft will be attending PAX East, which takes place April 11th to the 13th. They've finally announced what they're bringing along for the ride. For those of you that were hoping for some new games, try not to get your hopes up.
In terms of Xbox One titles, Titanfall, Plants vs. Zombies: Garden Warfare, Forza Motorsport 5, Ryse: Son of Rome, and Dead Rising 3 will be playable on the show floor. Yes, all of those games are available for purchase currently. Perhaps Microsoft is focused on showcasing their new console as they try to sway those that have yet to make the jump to the new generation?
That's not all Microsoft is bringning to the party, though. Project Spark, which is currently in beta, will also be on the showfloor. Indies Super Time Force and Strike Suit Zero: Director's Cut will also make an appearance. If you're going to the show, I highly, highly recommended Super Time Force.
Should panels be more of your thing, you're still covered. On Saturday April 12th, there will be a total of three panels for the Xbox brand:
- "Project Spark: Playing is Creating: How to transform from an everyday gamer to a creative visionary with Project Spark." Noon, Albatross Theatre
- "Titanfall: Looking Back & Moving Forward." 4:30 p.m., Main Theatre.
- "Major Nelson Radio – Live!" 6 p.m., Albatross Theatre
While its competitors stay home, Microsoft and Xbox are coming to play. Will you be joining them at PAX East?
