Here’s what Square Enix is bringing to PAX Prime 2015

Developer Square Enix is taking a truckload of Final Fantasy, Dragon Quest and a few oddballs to PAX Prime this year.

Final Fantasy 14’s first DLC, Heavensward, will be up for hands-on play, along with Final Fantasy 15 – Episode Duscae – 2.0, Dragon Quest Heroes and Final Fantasy Explorers. The latter, for the unfamiliar, is something of a Monster Hunter take on the franchise, and was recently confirmed to be coming to the West in early 2016.

Final Fantasy will also be heading up the studio’s many panels and events. On Saturday, August 29, from 12 p.m. to 1 p.m. (all times Pacific), Sound Director Masayoshi Soken and Localization Lead Michael-Christopher Koji Fox will host a panel dedicated to the lore and music of Final Fantasy 14: A Realm Reborn. Later that same day, from 4:30 to 5:30 p.m., FF15 Director Hajime Tabata will break down the game's latest trailer, Square said in a statement.

Hitman is getting an array of panels as well, including an “Art of Assassination” discussion on Friday, August 28 from 8:30 to 9:30 p.m.. Led by Art Director Jonathan Rowe and Lead Writer Michael Vogt, the panel will delve into “the visual and narrative universe” of the franchise’s impending reboot.

Hitman GO, along with Lara Croft GO, will be explored in a Friday panel from 12 to 1 p.m.. Beyond that, Square Enix has partnered with GameChanger Charity to “put a hit on cancer,” a flavorful drive in support of children with the disease. You can find more information and a donation option on the drive’s official page.

The studio didn't forget Deus Ex: Mankind Divided, either. A handful of the game's design and voice team will attend a panel from 4:30 to 5:30 p.m. on Thursday, August 28 to explain the process behind Adam Jensen as a character and the teetering world of the forthcoming game.
