Here’s when the New Xbox One Experience with Backwards Compatibility is launching

The New Xbox One Experience, complete with backwards compatibility functionality, will officially roll out to all Xbox One owners on Thursday, November 12th, Microsoft's Larry 'Major Nelson' Hryb announced yesterday.

The New Xbox One Experience, the largest update the console has seen since launch in 2013, is said to bring the "fastest and most social Xbox experience ever." Of course, the most anticipated new feature is the official arrival of backwards compatibility, the ability to play Xbox 360 games on your Xbox One. Additionally, other user-requested features are coming as well, including a redesigned Home that's faster and easier to navigate, a new Community section, and an optimized Store.

The New Xbox One Experience has been in testing with Xbox Preview members for a few weeks now. For a more in-depth look at what else the New Xbox One Experience will bring, check out this post.
