Honeyslug's psychodelic game Hohokum will be released on August 12 for PS4, PS3, and Vita, Sony revealed today. Over on the PlayStation Blog, Honeyslug announced the release date, but perhaps more importantly, the indie developer released a new video explaining the game design of Hohokum.
"Hohokum is a game about exploring a world that doesn't explain itself. All of the strange things that happen are kind of the game slowly revealing itself to the player," explained co-creator Ricky Haggett.
"You can say that it's colorful. You can say that it's exploratory. You can say that it has a creative informative element to it. I think you need to see it though," added Richard Hogg, co-creator and art director.
And with that, here's the video of both of them discussing Hohokum's game design and how it came about.
