Hotline Miami sequel confirmed

Get ready to go on another killing spree. Following the success of 2D, top-down action game Hotline Miami, creator Jonatan "Cactus" Söderström has officially revealed a sequel is being made.

The announcement came via Twitter where Söderström said, "Working while listening to the sweet tunes of a preliminary Hotline Miami 2 soundtrack that we've put together during the weekend."

Before those of you begin complaining about rushing to a sequel so quickly, Söderström did clear things up by noting the studio is "still working on fixing Hotline Miami."

"We haven't actually started working on anything new yet!" he clarified. "We only have some general plans for the next game."

Söderström also said that a Mac version of Hotline Miami is "nearing completion."
