How Techland innovated natural movement in Dying Light

Techland has released a new developer diary video showcasing the natural movement of Dying Light.

For those unfamiliar, Dying Light is a first-person action survival game set in a vast and dangerous world overrun by zombie-like creatures. During the day, you roam the urban environment for supplies and crafting weapons. At night, however, you become the prey as the infected become even stronger and more terrifying. Your only hope at night is to run, which is why Dying Light puts an emphasis on parkour.

The free-roaming element of Dying Light's gameplay has been a primary focus of Techland and today's video has them explain how they set out to innovate on movement in first-person games.
