Earlier this year, mega porn site Pornhub.com revealed that Xbox was the most preferred console for watching porn, topping PlayStation, Wii, PS Vita, and 3DS. Their statisticians are back, this time teaming up with GQ to take a look at how Pornhub users in the United States celebrated Valentine's Day last year in an effort to understand how this "holiday" impacts peoples' general porn search habits.

What they found was that the phrase "Valentines Day" breaks into the top 10 most searched terms overall. It's not too surprising, given that we've witnessed this in the past with things like Christmas, but I guess my question is — what the heck is a Valentine's Day porn? What makes a porn based around a holiday of f*cking so different? Is there just glitter and hearts everywhere?
According to their findings, the phrase "Valentines Day" sees a 41,412% increase in searches compared to the average day. The word "Valentine" sees a 8,204% increase compared to the average day.
Other top gaining search terms include:
- "Naughty Swinger Wife" (+633%)
- "Make Her Scream" (+518%)
- "Cupid" (+418%)
Joining Valentine's Day as the top 10 most searched terms on this romantical day are (in order from most searched):
- Teen
- Lesbian
- Milf
- Squirt
- Valentine's Day
- Ebony
- Mom
- Massage
- Cartoon
- Teacher
I absolutely love that "mom" is included on the list.
Most viewed categories are Teen, Ebony, Big T*ts, Lesbian, and Anal, while categories with the biggest increase in views on this day are Big T*ts, Bondage, Ebony, Anal, and Squirt.
Explaining their findings, Pornhub writes:
The most viewed categories overall are relatively standard, but there’s definitely some interesting stuff going on when we look over to the categories demonstrating significant view increases on V-day. Aside from 45% and 34% spikes in the Bondage and Anal categories, Pornhub viewers treat themselves to some pretty spicy content on Valentines Day, as made evident by categories like Creampie, Striptease and Fisting all seeing around 15% more views. The 19% increase in views in the Funny category indicate that some were perhaps in need of some comic relief alongside the other kind of relief traditionally offered by Pornhub.
