Humble Indie Bundle #2 Surpasses Half a Million in One Day

The Humble Indie Bundle #2 only just went on sale yesterday, but already it has generated a total revenue of over $500,000.

With less than 70,000 purchases required to reach the sales milestone, the bundle sold for $7.18 on average: Windows users averaged $5.95, Macs $8.12, and Linux users a whopping $13.55. Windows users paid less than others OS users, but still managed to make up more than half of the total revenue.

Minecraft creator Markus Persson tops the contributor list, having paid $2,000 for the bundle.

Less than a week remains to get your hands on the bundle or gift it to someone for Christmas, so act soon if you haven’t already.
