French developer Neopica and European publisher Bigben Interactive have officially announced Hunting Simulator, a "true hunting simulation" that offers vast areas of "open wild" for players to explore in what the duo is calling a "new gaming experience."
The game will have both single and multiplayer modes with hundreds of objectives to seek out and tackle. Hunting Simulator is being built in Unreal 4 and will re-create some of the most famous hunting areas from around the world. Players can expect to explore the mountains of Colorado, the oak forests of France, and the snowy plains of Alaska and much more.
Here's a list of game features courtesy of an official press release:
- One of the most complete hunting-game bestiaries with more than 35 species of animals set in 12 vast hunting areas.
- Intense hunting parties and hundreds of objectives across three game modes: campaign, free hunt, and shooting practice.
- Several hunting firearms and accessories to choose from an arsenal of rifles, crossbows, and bows, in addition to hunting calls, lures, and wind indicators.
- Introduction of the very first drone in a hunting game, used for checking your surroundings.
- Online multiplayer co-op mode for up to three hunting partners.
