Nintendo's Pokemon-themed Nintendo Direct was easy to miss. The entire online event was six and a half minutes long, which is incredibly short compared to the Nintendo Direct events of the past.

In addition to this, Nintendo further detailed the features that the upcoming re-releases of Pokemon Red, Blue and Yellow will feature – predominantly the Pokemon Bank feature. Pokemon from previous generation will be transferable to the newly announce game via the banking system.
