Imscared is the pixelated stuff of nightmares

We've come to the point in video games where we have to turn to homemade, indie horror titles in order to get a good scare nowadays. Games like Slender, with their simplistic approach still managed to terrify players, thanks to its fantastic atmosphere and slow build up.

Back in October of 2012, Ivan Zanotti released his horror game Imscared onto the internet, and has been terrifying players with its deceptively eerie gameplay. This pixelated horror game will have you surviving against an entity called White Face. Though unlike Slender, which is generally the same game every time you boot it up, Imscared is different.

It would be a shame to spoil it for you without actually letting you experience it for yourself. My advice is put on a good set of headphones, and keep a close eye on the folder where the game is located.

Happy surviving!
