It appears that Warner Bros. Interactive and NetherRealm Studios may be packaging their comic-based fighter, Injustice: Gods Among Us, for the PlayStation Vita. The eagle-eyed folks over at Siliconera spotted a rating for the title on Germany’s USK ratings board.
Sony's latest handheld system has been struggling since it was released last year. However, NetherRealm did create a Vita edition of 2011's Mortal Kombat, so seeing Injustice make its way to the little console isn't entirely surprising.
Injustice: Gods Among Us continues to be an important title for Warner Bros. Sales of the game have been strong since it was released in April. And with NetherRealm's never-ending stream of DLC, it could become a cornerstone of the Vita's library. However, all of that will have to wait until the game is officially announced.
Until then, Injustice fans should probably check out NetherRealm's latest addition to the character lineup: Zatanna Zatara.
