NetherRealm Studios' well-received fighting game Injustice: Gods Among Us will be coming to Sony's next-gen PlayStation 4 in the form of an Ultimate Edition which includes all original game content as well as all of the downloadable content.
Injustice: Gods Among Us Ultimate Edition will also be released on the PS3 and Xbox 360 for $59.99 (same price for PS4 version), PC for $49.99, and PS Vita for $39.99. It's due out on November 12th in the Americas and November 29th in other global territories.
For those who haven't been keeping track, already released DLC includes the characters Lobo, Batgirl, General Zod, Martian Manhuner, Zatanna, and Scorpion, a character from the Mortal Kombat fighting franchise that has been reimagined by Jim Lee, co-publisher at DC Entertainment. In addition, more than 40 extra character skins and 60 S.T.A.R. Labs missions will be included from the start of the game. The game's official soundtrack will also be included with the Americas version.
As for the PS4 version, it has been "remastered for next-gen technology" by High Voltage. It will feature Touchpad functionality, video sharing and streaming, and will link to players' PSN Feed page during match wrap-ups and pause menus. High Voltage is also working on the PC version.
The Vita version, meanwhile, is has been adapted for the handheld experience by Armature Studio. It will feature touch controls for mini-games in story mode and S.T.A.R. Labs Missions, Ad-hoc and Wi-Fi multiplayer, collectible hero cards, and all DLC that has been released.
Strangely, no Xbox One version has been announced.
