Is Kevin Spacey the villain in the new Call of Duty? Sure sounds like it

If a new teaser clip posted to the Call of Duty Instagram is any indication, then players could be fighting against a villain played by none other than House of Cards star Kevin Spacey in the upcoming Call of Duty game from Sledgehammer Games.

The new clip features a close-up shot of what looks to be Kevin Spacey.

"Ideas don't determine who's right," he says. "Power determines who's right. And I have the power, so I'm right."

Right about what exactly remains to be seen; however, it does appear quite likely that Spacey could be playing, or at least representing, the main villain in the new Call of Duty game. How perfect, right?

Earlier today, Activision released another video today revealing that the world's most powerful military in the upcoming Call of Duty game is not a country. Rather, it's a corporation — a Private Military Corporation (PMC) to be exact. And though it's not confirmed — but strongly hinted at in this teaser — Spacey looks to play the part of the corporation's head boss.

So does Spacey's character get drunk off power and wage war against the United States in the new Call of Duty? Looks like we'll have to wait to find out.

Activision confirmed today that on May 4, 2014, a "new era" of Call of Duty will be revealed.
