Respawn Entertainment is planning a multiplayer tech test for Titanfall 2 to stress test servers and prove whether or not servers scale appropriately. No date for the stress test has been given other than that it's right "around the corner."
The very same day that the blog post on Titanfall 2's stress test went up, the founder and CEO of Respawn, Vince Zampella, might have given us a hint on when to expect the Titanfall 2 stress test. Sure, he didn't outright say he was talking about Titanfall 2, but this probably isn't some casual coincidence.
The tweet that Zampella sent out on August 13th was aimed at the coming tech test and with this one following it – it's safe to say that Xbox One and PlayStation 4 owners should get excited.
Unfortunately, PC players will have to sit out of the stress test. Respawn isn't ready to handle the specifics that PC gaming brings (video cards, CPUs etc), but your time will come… one day.
