Microsoft announced the Games with Gold for January 2016, revealing the first four games of the new year that will be available to all Xbox LIVE Gold subscribers. Of course, all four will be available for Xbox One users via the backward compatibility program.
For Xbox One, players will be able to get their hands on:
- Killer Instinct Season One Ultra Edition: This includes all characters and they will not need to be purchased individually. The game will be available from January 1st and last all month
- Zheros: A 3rd person fighting game via the Id@xbox program, Zheros blends single player gameplay with a variety of customization and hilarious player animations. It will be available from January 16th through February 15th on Xbox One.
Xbox 360 users will also be able to get their hands on two individual games maintaining the two week format for each:
- DiRT Showdown: Will be available from January 1st – 15th for all Gold subscribers
- Deus Ex: Human Revolution: Available from January 16th-31st.
All games are available for free to Xbox Live Gold Subscribers during the specified times. The Xbox digital sale also begins tomorrow lasting through January 7th and will feature over 200 games on sale for both Xbox One and 360 as well in what is Microsoft's biggest game sale ever for the holidays.
