Jet Set Radio for PlayStation Vita delayed

SEGA announced today that the PlayStation Vita version of Jet Set Radio — which was scheduled to release today — has been delayed due to "necessary development optimizations."

SEGA didn't get into specifics, but when the game was first announced they said it would make use of the Vita's unique features "providing new ways for gamers to interact with the environments of Tokyo-to, from touch functionality that makes spraying graffiti more natural to Vita camera integration."

When the game does release on Vita it will cost $9.99 (£6.49). The HD remake of Jet Set Radio made its way on to consoles and PC back in September. We'll be sure to update you when we get a new release date for the Vita version.
