Of all people, Jimmy Kimmel — who earlier this month found himself in the middle of a controversy surrounding the idea of video game Let's Plays — is now trying to convince us to pre-order Destiny: The Taken King on behalf of GameStop.
Last week, the late night host's lovable sidekick Guillermo participated in a skit in which he was visited by the Ghost of Pre-Order Future who warned him what would happen if he failed to pre-order Destiny's new expansion from GameStop.
It's mildly entertaining and in a way — whether it means to or not — pokes fun at the current pre-order culture plaguing the gaming industry. Check it out below.
With Kimmel seemingly have discovered the lucrative gaming industry, I'm sure we'll be seeing more of this in the future.
