Joe Danger 2 heads to PSN next week, extra content detailed

Last week, details surfaced on the PlayStation Network version of Joe Danger 2: The Movie. The game, which has already been well received on Xbox Live Arcade, was revealed by developer Hello Games to offer 10 hours of additional content on Sony's digital download service.

The studio has now released information on those 10 bonus hours of game. The company took an older prototype of Joe Danger 2 and remixed it to turn it into a slew of new levels, each with their own challenges and medals.

"It's actually a throwback to when we made the original Joe Danger," stated Hello Games' Sean Murray. "As our guys sat in a room playing our own game, we fell into that classic trap of playing our own game too much. Our first prototype was this very tight, very challenging game that took about 10 hours to complete. No tutorials, no hand-holding, just fun arcade gameplay."

Joe Danger 2 is set to be released on the PlayStation Network for $14.99. PlayStation 3 owners can download the game on October 9.
