Professional StarCraft II Johan "NaniWa" Lucchesi for the past few years has been bouncing around from team to team for awhile now – from Complexity to Quantic and now he's signed on with Swedish periphrial company Mionix. In an effort to expand their eSports efforts, they've picked up on his free agency and will be at GamesCom and Intel Extreme Masters with NaNiWa.
"When we heard that Johan had left his previous team and was interested in participating at IEM we felt it was the natural step for us to offer him that possibility, as a part of our approach in to E-sports and to keep on building brand awareness within the scene. We are proud to work together with Johan and are confident that this partnership will lead to great things ahead", says Peter Nygren, CEO at Mionix.
"I'm excited to have Mionix as my main sponsor and partner for IEM. It will be a great opportunity for me to meet all the European and International fans and show great games in the tournament. I've always known that Mionix has great products and this partnership will definitely help me in this tournament but also in my future career" says Naniwa.
We wish him the best with his new team – hopefully he'll stick around for awhile this time!
