Kevin Butler too powerful for PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale?

Fictitious Sony character Kevin Butler, who was used by Sony Computer Entertainment America as part of their advertising campaigns for the PlayStation 3, is easily one of the most requested characters for Sony's upcoming mascot brawler PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale. But while fans may think it's a good idea, Kevin Butler doesn't seem to agree.

The self-proclaimed sandwich inventor, occasional time traveler, and VP of practically everything Sony, who is in charge of "bringing back the glory of Play to gaming", took to Twitter today to address fans' requests to have him as a final boss in the game.

"Thanks for suggesting me as the final boss in PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale," he wrote. "But research shows you like a game you can actually beat."

Well played, Mr. Butler. And while I appreciate his looking out for fellow PlayStation gamers, I have to say I'd still like to see him incorporated in some way, shape, or form in PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale. Even if he's just in the background, I think a character as iconic as Butler needs to have a spot somewhere in the game.

Come on Sony, lets at least get him in the commercials for the game!
