Masahiro Sakura, director of Kid Icarus: Uprising, announced yesterday on his Twitter that the upcoming game's development is complete and has gone gold.
The creator of popular Nintendo fighting game Super Smash Bros., Sakura went on to joke about possibly getting some rest during the weekend and thanked everyone involved with the creation of the game.
Kid Icarus: Uprising is a brand new look on Pit, taking him from a 2D platforming landscape as seen on the NES to a rail shooter in 3D via 3DS capibilities. Laying complete lifeless for almost 20 years, Pit will continue the fight on March 23 of this year. [Andriasang]
