Fans hoping for a Kojima-helmed Zone of the Enders sequel may have to wait a little longer, as Kojima Productions is currently looking to hire staff for a “next generation Metal Gear Solid series production.”
It seems Hideo can’t quite let the Series That Snake Built go, even though he had seriously mused moving on after Metal Gear Solid 4. The programmer listing requires multiplatform experience, so chances of this one being a single console exclusive are unlikely.
This is in no way a guarantee that Metal Gear Solid 5 is next, as it could be for the Rising spin-off series. Let the speculation begin!
