Layers of Fear release date revealed, also coming to PS4

Layers of Fear is currently in Early Access on PC as well as Game Preview on Xbox One. It's a survivor horror title developed by Bloober Team and Aspyr Media. Today, the studios announced that not only is the game also going to be coming to PS4, but the game will release in full next month.  The new partnership was announced today and was instrumental in allowing the game to proceed for its full release.

“As soon as we got our hands on the game via Steam Early Access and saw the ravenous community feedback, we wanted to be a part of sharing this game with the world,” said Aspyr Media's vice president of publishing, Elizabeth Howard. “Many game developers pour their blood, sweat and tears into creating great games, but the folks at Bloober Team brought a new meaning to this term while creating Layers of Fear. It’s truly been a blast working with a group so dedicated to the craft of beautifully scaring the sh!t out of people, and adding in our own flavor of insanity

Layers of Fear is still available in both Game Preview and Early Access so you are still able to grab it at a low price if you haven't already. It's a good mix or jump scares, psychedelic colors and genuine fear lumped together in one. The scariest games or movies tend to be ones that mix up a bunch of different manners in which to scare you. Layers of Fear does just that and I really enjoyed my time playing it on Xbox One's Game Preview.

Layers of Fear will launch in full on February 16th on Xbox One, PC and PS4.
