League of Legends North American LCS opener sold out

Tickets to the North American League of Legends League Championship Series (LCS) opener on January 17 are sold out, Riot Games announced. On the bright side, tickets to see other LCS Spring Promotion matches live are still available, though I imagine they are selling out quickly.

Riot began selling tickets late last month for the Spring Promotion in both North America and Europe. Events in North America are slated to run between January 17 through February 9, and from January 14 through February 7 in Europe. You can view the full schedule and purchase tickets over on the official LoL eSports website.

This will be the first year in which League of Legends fans will be able to see the North American LCS games in person, with matches taking place in Manhattan Beach, California. European matches will be held in Cologne, Germany. The Season 4 LCS will culminate in a World Championship hosted in South Korea.
