Microsoft's heavily rumored digital assistant "Cortana" has yet to be officially announced, but a newly leaked video courtesy of Unleash the Phones shows the Siri-like program in action. Although Cortana appears to be voiceless at the moment, the video provides an extensive look at the program's setup.
After asking you to sign into your Microsoft account, Cortana asks you what name you would like to be called. "She" then proceeds to ask you an additional series of questions to get to know you better, like "What are a couple of the most enjoyable parts of your everyday evening?" and "When you think about food, what's most important to you these days?"
Like Apple's Siri and Google Now, Cortana will act as an assistant, able to remind you of events and answer any questions you may have (provided it can be found in Bing, Foursquare, or another one of its source services).
Cortana is expected to launch as part of Windows 8.1 in late March or early April.
