Lego Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga gets gameplay; Delayed to 2021

Lego Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga just got its first ever gameplay trailer which takes us through the whole 9-film series in LEGO format. We see everything from the start of Luke’s journey to the end of Rey’s and it looks fantastic!

I got to see the game in action at E3 last summer and I was personally super impressed. It looks to truly re-invent the way we play Lego games. With revamped gameplay, a complete overhaul on levels, and much more, this is a proper remake of all these Lego games. Players will be able to explore a number of planets in an open-world that’s filled with side quests and more. You can also take flight and explore space, taking part in dogfights and epic battles in the stars.

“LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga is a celebration of the heritage and future of LEGO Star Wars games,” said Michael Denny, Vice President and Studio Head, TT Games. “For the first time ever, players can explore the legendary adventures from the Skywalker saga in an immense, new game for everyone to play on current and upcoming platforms.”

Lego Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga was supposed to release this fall but will now release spring 2021. It was also revealed it will release on current-gen and next-gen consoles next year.
