Less people are ranked Legend in Hearthstone than you think

So, you're playing ranked games in Hearthstone and you keep getting wrecked. You swear you're getting matched up against better players – but it might actually be time to start blaming the internet. It's totally lagging. Oh, and your mouse battery is low – that's lagging too.

I'm kidding, but not really – there are way less Legendary tier players than you think. In fact, out of the 20 million player base only .5% are Legendary (that's 100,000/20,000,000). Around 2% of players are somewhere within the range of Rank 5 to Legendary, 5.5% make up the ranks between 10 and 5 and 17.5% of players in the middle Ranks (Rank 15 – 10).

The majority of players, 75%, sit at Rank 25 – 15.
