Japan is getting two more limited edition PlayStation 4 consoles. This time they are themed around upcoming games: Destiny and The Last of Us: Remastered.
The Destiny-themed console is still white, like the one releasing to the rest of the world as part of a special bundle, though the Japanese version features some additional branding in the form of the game's logo.
The Last of Us-themed edition, meanwhile, features the game's logo alongside the visages of Joel and Ellie which are etched on the top HDD panel. It's similar to the Frozen-themed PS4 that was revealed last week for Japan as well.
You know how I always complain that Europe gets all the cool sh*t? Well, Japan gets all the cool PS4 sh*t. Sony has not said whether these consoles will be coming the United States, though I'm sure they'd sell quite well — especially that Frozen one. On a side note, Sony has said that the Glacier White PS4 will be sold separate from the bundle in Europe only.
The Last of Us Remastered, the PS4 version of Naughty Dog's critically acclaimed post-apocolyptic action-adventure, is set to release on July 29. Destiny, meanwhile, won't hit store shelves until September 9, though a beta for the game is currently underway on PS4 and PS3.
