Listen to Remember Me’s soundtrack, scored by Olivier Deriviere

Capcom's new third-person action adventure Remember Me is a digital mind f*ck, so it's only fitting that the soundtrack be just as emotionally driven. The upcoming third-person action adventure game sees you take on the role of Nilin, a former elite memory hunter with the ability to break into people's minds and steal or even alter their memories. However, fearful of her knowledge and capabilities, the authorities arrest Nilin and wipe her memory clean. This leads her on a mission to recover her identity. Like I said, digital mind f*ck — one I'm intrigued to play more of.

For now, I'll have to settle for hearing more. Capcom has released a small snippet of Remember Me's "dynamic emotional score" in which the game's "innovative memory remix gameplay experience" is told through a unique, electronically manipulated live symphonic score. Composed by Olivier Deriviere (Of Orcs and Men, Alone in the Dark), the soundtrack to Remember Me features live orchestra that has been digitally processed and manipulated with multiple layers and effects to "create a futuristic – but entirely organic and acoustic – musical palette which reflects Nilin's memory loss and the reconstruction of her memories throughout the game."

Check out the clips of Remember Me's soundtrack below.

Remember Me is due out on June 4 for Xbox 360, PS3, and PC.
