Lizard Squad takes down National Crime Agency’s site

They're back~

Last week, the U.K.’s National Crime Agency arrested six teens in association with the hacking group known as Lizard Squad. The teens weren't outright responsible for taking down both the PlayStation Network and Xbox Live during the holidays last year, like the group itself, but were linked to purchasing Lizard Squad's DDoSing software.

Recent claims from Lizard Squad suggest that they were responsible for taking down the National Crime Agency's website, in light of the arrests.

The National Crime Agency responded to the attack saying that a DDoS attack "takes volume and not skill."

The hacking group also claims to be working on a 'new weapon,' which is likely an updated version of their DDoS software, Lizard Stresser. You can expect Lizard Squad to be a bit more active once their 'new weapon' is finalized.
