Lobo is the first DLC character for Injustice: Gods Among Us

Last month, Ed Boon — NetherRealm Studios creative director and Mortal Kombat co-creator — teased what appears to be the first DLC character for Injustice: Gods Among Us. He tweeted a picture of a Lobo comic book.

Lobo will be one of the four downloadable fighters planned for release as DLC. In March, WB Games announced a DLC season pass for Injustice, priced at 1200 MSP on Xbox 360 and $14.99 on PlayStation 3; no season pass is confirmed for the Wii U. The season pass will get you four characters for the price of three, in addition to exclusive access to the Flash Point Skin Pack. The Skin Pack has alternate costumes for Wonder Woman, Aquaman and Deathstroke.

Lobo is an anti-hero, alien bounty hunter with a penchant for violence. He's encountered Batman a couple of times, and has both fought against and cooperated with Superman. He's also had run-ins with Green Lantern and Wonder Woman. So he'll fit in quite nicely.

Lobo only lives by one rule: once he takes a contract, he finishes it… no matter what. Oh, and he's killed Santa Claus.
