Looks like the Silver Mario amiibo is real

In early February gold and silver Mario amiibo were spotted across the internet. The gold amiibo was confirmed by Nintendo, but the silver amiibo remained to be as elusive as Big Foot or El Chupacabra.

It looks like someone has gotten a hold of the silver Mario amiibo and took to the internet to show it off. YouTuber MatteomaxM has made a video clearly showing the silver Mario amiibo being paired with Mario Party 10 — you can even see the silver Mario amiibo in-game. MatteomaxM says he bought the amiibo from a Chinese website (TaoBao) — the very same site where he buys prototype Skylander figures.

Check it out in action below:

The Gold Mario Amibo was confirmed and released exclusively via Walmart. You should know that the amiibo sold out the same day it was announced. If you want the silver amiibo and don't want to pay the insane eBay prices (when it is finally revealed – if it is revealed) you might want to aggressively click your mouse on whatever store is selling it.

What do you think?
