Lords of the Fallen dev diary is all about the feel

CI Games has released a new dev diary looking at their newly-released brutal action-RPG Lords of the Fallen.

In this week's video, executive producer Tomek Kop discusses the careful balance in creating a rewarding and challenging gameplay experience without frustration and tedium. As Kop explains, bosses have been created with special objectives, deep combat mechanics, and customization that allows for multiple play styles. In return, each boss yields exciting rewards.

Also adding this week's focus on "feel," CI Games discusses the varying weapon and armor types, crafting system, magic abilities and level design — all of which work together in a gameplay system that revolves around dynamic combat.

Of course, this is all developer speak. Check out our review for Lords of the Fallen here to see how much of what they say holds up.
