Lost Odyssey devs to reveal new game next week

Hironobu Sakaguchi, the creator of Final Fantasy, will be showing off a new game from his current studio, Mistwalker alongside another long-time Final Fantasy alum, Nobuo Uematsu. The game will be announced via livestream over on NicoNico Live next week on June 22nd as part of a standard Tokaigi TV broadcast. The stream will start at 8:00 PM JST (That's 6:00 AM EST).

Mistwalker is the studio that Sakaguchi founded in 2004 after departing the company formerly known as Squaresoft, which is known today as Square Enix as the result of a merger. Mistwalker is known for Blue Dragon and Lost Odyssey, which were created as Xbox 360 exclusives back in 2006 and 2007 respectively. The company also went on to create The Last Story, which is one of the more underrated JRPGs for the Nintendo Wii.

What do you think Mistwalker has in store? Could we return to the world of Lost Odyssey? Or will it be a new game altogether?
