Lovely Planet Arcade is a colorful shooter with a brutal difficulty you’d never think it had

At first glance, Lovely Planet Arcade just looks goofy. Beneath the surface, however, lies a shooter that prides itself on difficulty and patience. And that's the point. The game tries to lull your senses with its colorful world that looks like something out of a toddler's Saturday morning TV Show, but in reality, Lovely Planet Arcade will have you dodging enemy attacks left and right.

Lovely Planet Arcade is the sequel to Lovely Arcade, a speedrunning FPS of similar build and tasks the player with creating insanely intricate combos to dodge and weave through the plethora of projectiles across 100 levels while uncovering the mysteries of the Arcade.

Here's the game's official description from its Steam Page:

"Relive your journey to Lovely Planet in this brand new adventure packed with impossible tests of skill and patience. Craft intricate combos to unfold the complex puzzle of flying projectiles and moving targets into a graceful sequence of well-timed shots and jumps. Enjoy shooting baddies, jumping over obstacles and teleporting around bullets while trading with milliseconds."
And its features:
  • The original First Person Shooter experience, a game of jumping and shooting
  • Test your skills with a hundred plus levels to solve over four unique worlds
  • Push yourself further with unlockable modifiers, play any level in Mirror or Fast mode
  • Collect evidence and uncover the mysteries of the Arcade
  • Original soundtrack by Calum Bowen

Lovely Planet Arcade is out now on Steam for Windows, Mac, and Linux.
