Hot off the heels of getting its first screenshot, we now have our first official look at Madden NFL 15's gameplay. And given EA Sports' emphasis on creating the "most immersive defensive gameplay" in franchise history, it's no surprise that the focus is on Carolina Panthers' Luke Kuechly as he blows by defenders to make the stop. It's hard to judge gameplay on a 30-or-so-second clip, but it looks as though defenders are much more capable this time around.
"Set the tone on defense with more control thanks to an all-new arsenal of pass rush moves, contain the open field with intuitive tackling mechanics, and play as a team with redesigned zone and man coverage logic all while being immersed in the play from the other side of the line, with defensive player lock cameras. Madden NFL 15 delivers on defense," EA Sports says on the Madden NFL 15 features page.
Aside from talking defense, EA also notes that Madden NFL 15 features an NFL Films inspired presentation with dynamic pre-game and halftime shows and new in-game camera angles that drop you "right in the heart of an NFL game." Each play will offer six gameplay cameras to toggle through during pre-snap.
