After five weeks of play, we're starting to get an idea for how the NFL 2014-2015 season is shaping up. Well, kind of. Even at 4-1 there are questions surrounding teams like the Philadelphia Eagles and Dallas Cowboys. We still don't know what to make of hte New England Patriots who, after getting embarrassed by the Chiefs in week 4 took it to the Bengals last week. I can't imagine how difficult it must be to handle these weekly roster updates; I don't know how Donny Moore does it. Whatever the case, this week's changes are in.
As a result of the Cowboys fantastic run game to start the season, left guard Ronald Leary has seen his overall increase five points this week to 79 overall. Branden Oliver, halfback for the Chargers, another hot team, also received a five point boost to bring his overall to 75. Other notable increases were made to Bills' wide receiver Sammy Watkins (+2 to 84 overall) and Texans' running back Arian Foster (+2 to 92 overall).
"The Bolts won their fourth consecutive game on Sunday thanks to more great play from quarterback Philip Rivers, as well as an unlikely contributor in undrafted rookie running back Branden Oliver," EA said.
"Standing just 5'7 and wearing #43, Oliver immediately invites comparisons to Darren Sproles. He even resembled Sproles in the box score, racking up 114 rushing yards and 68 receiving yards to go with two touchdowns."
Of course, you can't have winners without a few losers. Three notable decreases this week go to Falcons' offensive lineman Jake Matthew (-4 to 76 overall), Bills' runningback C.J. Spiller (-2 to 84 overall), and Jets' quarterback Michael Vick (-2 to 75 overall).
