As we learned earlier this year, Madden NFL 16 marks the return of NFL Trax, a playlist of songs from both up-and-coming and mainstream artists that's played while you're in the game's menus. NFL Trax has been on a three year hiatus when EA decided to replace it with an orchestrated soundtrack, but today EA gave us our first look at its return.
The Madden NFL 16 soundtrack features more than 30 tracks from various artists, including The Weeknd, Yelawolf, Lee Brice, and twenty one pilots. There's also a mix of brand new music from John Newman, Robert DeLong, and Rag'n'Bone Man. Not going to lie, I'm not familiar with many of the artists or songs, but anything is better than that damn repetitive loop on Madden 15.
EA's partnership with Spotify has allowed the creation of a playlist, featuring a sampling of the game's tracks. Have a listen to the playlist below and get ready for kickoff on August 25th.
